Xiao Long Bao Cooking Class

Thanks to Toy's R Us & Din Tai Fung,
I went to attend my very first cooking class -
Learning how to make Xiao Long Bao ..
In Din Tai Fung e@Curve~~~

Chef @ work....
Preparing ingredients for the kids....

 All ingredients set and ready!~

The chef showing and demonstrating...
Step-by-step instructions....
On how to make a Xiao Long Bao....

Black bean as the fillings.....

 The kids start 'working'.......
Din Tai Fung's chef is teaching the little chef...
Patiently~~~~~

I enjoyed doing this so much!~
Roll and roll and roll.....
It's time...
For us to put in the fillings...
And get ready for the last stage.....
The most difficult stage:
Wrapping up the Xiao Long Pao...

All little chef,
Including me....
Busy and enjoying~~~
 Wrapping up slowly and steadily.....

 And the final product!!!

Steaming in the kitchen.......
Get ready to eat my Xiao Long Bao.....

After 'the making' session,
We learnt the correct way to eat Xiao Long Bao.......
Stay tune for my next post!~
If you want to know more about it!!!

LittleLamb, the kid's xiao long bao's filling is black bean, what we eat is with meat inside...... They didn't really steam what the kids made.. Haha!~ But it's cute seeing them making Xiao Long Bao of varieties shapes~~~
